Riccardo Coletta
Principal, Growth
Riccardo joined United Ventures in 2022 and is now Principal on the Growth Team, where he has taken on full investment responsibility across the Growth Fund. His work spans dealflow origination, investment execution, and portfolio management, with a focus on supporting high-growth technology companies as they scale.
Riccardo is known for his rational, steady approach and for being a reliable partner to founders through the different stages of portfolio life. Alongside his investment role, he contributes to platform initiatives across the wider portfolio, helping companies access the support, resources, and perspective they need to grow.
His portfolio work includes Aindo, Futura, Zerynth, D-Orbit, and Electra.
Before joining United Ventures, Riccardo was part of the investment team at Alchimia, an Italy-based venture capital firm investing globally in early-stage companies. There, he worked on dealflow origination, investment execution, and portfolio management.
Riccardo also supports The Gentlemen’s Retreat, an initiative that helps high school students in high-potential urban communities develop emotional, conversational, and narrative intelligence.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Economics from Luiss University in Rome. During his studies, he also spent time in London and Paris, further developing his academic focus on corporate finance.
Outside of work, Riccardo is often found with his head down over his laptop, by a river or lake, or immersed in a book or podcast.
