Matteo Moscarelli
Dealflow Manager
Matteo joined United Ventures in 2023 as Dealflow Manager. He plays a crucial role in initiating the investment decision-making process of the fund by engaging with founders and carefully assessing their businesses. His interests primarily revolve around technology and emerging trends.
Before his current position, Matteo worked as a Ventures Associate at Plug and Play, a globally renowned VC firm. During this time, he facilitated several early-stage investments and managed relationships with notable clients. Additionally, Matteo co-founded FunniFin, an ed-tech startup focused on financial education through gamification. He has also been involved in the startup ecosystem through his contributions to the Italian Tech Alliance and his role as president of Build It Up, a non-profit startup accelerator.
Matteo holds a Master’s degree with double specializations in Investment Banking and Banking and Finance from ESCP Business School and a bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and Management from Luiss University. He continues to engage with universities, mentoring at Privilege Student Ventures and serving on the Board of Build It Up.
Outside of work, Matteo enjoys sports such as football, skiing, and beach volleyball, as well as traveling, watching TV series, and reading.
